Live events are recorded by default. Organizations should increase their privacy by changing the policy so that events are only recorded at the organizerโs discretion.
Record an event SHOULD be set to Organizer can record.
Enterprise licensing is required to host live events.
Resources:
Sign in to the Microsoft Teams admin center.
Select Meetings -> Live events policies.
Select Global (Org-wide default).
Set Record an event to Organizer can record.
Click Save.
Ensure users are aware that only the meeting organizer can record the live event.
